SHARING THE HISTORY
U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit
THE FEDERAL CIRCUIT HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Join us in our mission
to preserve, study, and disseminate to the public the rich history of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, its predecessors, and the subject matters within its unique jurisdiction.

Adjudicating appeals in such areas as patents; claims against the government; tariff, trade, and government contract disputes; and veterans and federal employee rights, the court and its ancestors—the U.S. Court of Claims and the U.S. Court of Customs and Patent Appeals—have addressed events and conflicts that have shaped our nation from its earliest days to the present.
Through such vehicles as oral histories, an annual journal, lectures, and its website, the Society researches and tells that great story.

To do this work, the Society depends on individual memberships, library and other institutional subscription memberships, and foundation grants. Please help sustain these efforts by joining the Society or making a donation.
